On two special weekends each year, the nature center is open for hammock camping! Adults and children ages 12+ (with an adult) are invited to an evening of swingin' in the trees, roasting hot dogs and s'mores over the campfire, and enjoying the company of other camping enthusiasts.

Bring your own hammock or reserve one of our few extras. (Call or email CCNC to reserve.)
$10 per guest. Admission includes hotdogs and s'mores.
We recommend bringing:
- Hammock & straps
- Change of clothes
- Water bottle
- Flashlight
- Bug spray
- Comforts of home (sleeping bag, blanket, hammock)
- Toiletries
- Chair (optional)
- Bug net (optional)
- Tarp (in case of inclement weather)
*STRONG (unsafe) storms will cause The Great Hangout to be postponed.
