Join CCNC and learn from native plant landscape architect Beau Lackey about how to remove invasive Japanese stilt grass.

Apply knowledge learned in class to remove stilt grass in our forest! This workshop is free and brought to you by the Mississippi Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund.

We will start inside by learning how to identify Japanese stilt grass and an eco-friendly method to remove it. Then we will head into the forest and apply this knowledge by removing the stilt grass along our Old Natchez Trace trail. You can bring your lunch or contribute $5 to a pizza order. Please bring bug spray and sunscreen if you want to use it.

Hope to see you there!
